Hafeez Uddin ji is a traditional Zardosi artist who acquired the art as a kid from his father, Wafat Uddin. In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious State Award. Among his many other honours is one for his contributions to the evolution of Zardosi embroidered art. Since 1998, he has participated in various exhibits in India.
