A self taught miniature artist who was awarded the national award in India in 1998 for his delicate brushwork and meticulous details, sometimes so intricate that one would need a magnifying glass to see the actual details. The artist is adept in several schools and styles of Indian miniature painting including Kangra, Guler, Basohli, Malwa, and Bundi. His favorite style of miniature paintings are the ones from the British times in india which were front facing with proportions so perfect they were almost 3D and lifelike.
