Kotpad handlooms are a specialized vegetable-dyed fabric created mainly from dyes gleaned from the Aul tree. They are created by the Mirgan community who live in the mystic forests of the Eastern Ghats. The thick, coarse, natural dyed Kotpad textiles have a rustic feel and unique aesthetic that rhymes with the simplicity and harmony of the tribal culture. This range of co-ordinated masks with stoles is a limited edition capsule collection 'Jiyo for MeMeraki' , hand block printed by artist Gopibandhu and has been created by the Jiyo! Mundaguda Producers Group and Jiyo! Kalptaru Producers Group in Koraput, Odisha.
