Shehzad Ali Sherani, a well-known Pichwai artist from Kishangarh, has received several prizes, including the State Award and the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academi Commendation certificate, among others. For many years, he has been performing Pichwai and Kishangarh art under the competent direction of Padmashri Kripal Singh Shekhawat. His son Faizan collaborates with him to bring their creativity to the world. Shehzad ji is solely responsible for resurrecting the Kishangarh School of Art. At the age of 75, our oldest artist at Memeraki, affectionately known as 'Bhaiyyaji' (Elder Brother) by everybody, still wakes up at 5 a.m. every day to begin painting and continues until 7 p.m. Every paintbrush, every pot of colour, every painting, and every nook and corner of his gorgeous house and studio reflected his commitment and dedication to perfecting his trade.
