This performative art is used for leather puppetry, which is popular in the Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh. Over time, this performative art also took its place in painting and decorative art.

The composition renders the flowering tree with five blossoms extending their branches and peacocks nested over it. This representation symbolises prosperity, fertility, nourishment, and good luck. The artist has a keen observation of nature, capturing the essence of the flora and fauna, rendering the forms with contour details, leaving them uncoloured to attain simplicity. Every petal, leaf, bud, and stem, with anatomical details of birds, is done precisely. With a simplistic method of rendition, an essence of movement and rhythmic flow is achieved. There is balance and harmony in the picture frame.

The composition is enclosed within a thin border line with a decorative pattern.The backdrop is coloured in warm yellow.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1194/1498/files/1._Blooming_Flowers_with_Peacocks_in_Tholu_Bommalata_by_Sindhe_Siva.jpg?v=1791781360
