Groups of Gopis stand on either side, dressed in beautiful ghagra choli and dupattas., holding peacock fans (morchhal), ritual trays, and other offerings. with their hands held high in celebration Two male Pujari priests, dressed in golden dhotis stand in the foreground holding an aarti and peacock fan. His right hand rests at the waist, holding a kamal chadi and flute, while his cascading braid is adorned with floral motifs. By his feet lie the offerings of jaldani (water pot), prasad dibbi and paan beeda.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe lower register presents the Janmashtami scene: Nand Baba (to the left, in a yellow turban and dhoti) and Yashoda Mata (to the right, in a red sari) are seated on a chequered floor. Between them, Baby Krishna (Ladoo Gopal) rests in an ornate, miniature jhula (cradle) decorated with toran and ritual elements. Behind Shrinathji is a red backdrop patterned with peacocks and repeating white cows; a traditional chaupar (Pachisi) game layout is also featured. The setting features a tiled roof haveli with cusped arches and chequered floors, topped with dhaja ji, the ceremonial flag. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe composition is bordered by repeating motifs: cows that fill the yellow side and lower borders, the handprints of their bodies being representative of Krishna; along with small inset images of the ashta sakhas.
