Originating from the scroll-painting tradition of Rajasthan historically narrated by Bhopa bards, this sequential composition captures five key episodes from Krishna's early life, set within a manuscript-style layout framed by a broad red border. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe center of the artwork features Krishna dancing triumphantly upon the multi-hooded serpent Kaliya to subdue his pride and cleanse the poisoned Yamuna River. The dark-complexioned child deity plays his flute (murali) with rhythmic grace while Kaliya's wives (naginis) bow with folded hands in Anjali mudra, pleading for mercy. Surrounding this central motif are four pivotal episodes: in the upper left, Krishna subdues the whirlwind demon Trinavarta; in the lower left, he vanquishes the demoness Putana, drawing out her life-force as she attempts to poison him; in the upper right, he lifts Mount Govardhana on his little finger to shield the villagers of Braj from Lord Indra's torrential rains; and in the lower right, he playfully steals butter (makkhan) from a hanging pot atop a pedestal to share with his companions. Two Devanagari script cartouches, placed at the top center and bottom, quote verses describing the leelas, uniting visual narrative with devotional poetry. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Abhishek Joshi","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67795284066518,"sku":null,"price":50000.0,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1194\/1498\/files\/1._Krishna_and_his_Leelas_in_Phad_by_Abhishek_Joshi.jpg?v=1793085199","url":"https:\/\/www.memeraki.com\/products\/krishna-and-his-leelas-in-phad-by-abhishek-joshi","provider":"Memeraki Retail and Tech Pvt Ltd.","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
