MADHUBANI ART WORKSHOP, DIWALI SPECIAL IN COLLABORATION WITH BASIS
A collaboration with Basis, India's leading fintech platform for financial independence for women, a madhubani art workshop to bring home the symbol of wealth, Goddess Lakshmi.
To kick off the festive season we wanted to bring you something new, different and help bring out the festive spirit. We've tied up with Basis, a personal finance app only for women, to empower women with financial prowess - and we will be painting Goddess Lakshmi, what better way to empower our community this festive season! Our madhubani artist Pratima Bharati will be teaching this session.
About Basis: Basis is an early stage fintech venture aimed at enabling women to achieve financial independence. It's a fast growing community of driven, independent and career minded women from urban India navigating their way to financial independence. With over 30,000 app installs and 2x MoM growth, Basis is witnessing unique, exciting trends that are game-changers in the fintech space. The start-up backed by top global investors and co-founded by two women entrepreneurs, Hena Mehta and Dipika Jaikishan, is building an ambitious solution to a problem that the market is just starting to take note of as they address a multi-billion dollar opportunity. Hena, a product first engineer from Upenn, built fintech products at Goldman Sachs, Ezetap and Square before her MBA from Wharton. Dipika, a wealth management professional, with her domain expertise in personal finance and products, recognises how the industry drastically underserves 50% of the market (women) had a compelling call to build a different approach to serve this gap and build on the opportunity.
