Stay with me, KISHANGARH PAINTING BY SHEHZAAD ALI SHERANI
The painting depicts a couple together on the terrace of a white marble architectural setting. They are alone in the huge palace that surrounds them. There is a sense on longing in their eyes and desire in their hand gestures. In the background is a mighty river. In the top right corner one can even see the setting sun, peaking though the hills.
One of the well known Pichwai artists from Kishangarh, Shehzad Ali Sherani is the recipient of many awards like the State Award, the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academi Commendation certificate and more.
