About the Artwork +

Dhirendra Kumar, through his unique canvas, portrays a scene that transports us to a lively village setting, where the cultural tapestry is exhibited before the eyes of the observer. Scattered throughout the scene, goats roam freely, adding a touch of charm and liveliness to the artwork. As the eyes of the observer explore the artwork further, the artist invites them to witness the bustling activities of the village residents. Each figure is engaged in their own unique task, reflecting the diversity of occupations and daily routines. The artistry of Sikki grass is masterfully employed to capture the intricate details of the scene. The masterpiece evokes a sense of energy and celebration, while the craftsmanship highlights the meticulous skill of the artist.
