About the Artwork +

Mridu Moucham Bora's Assamese painting captures the serene beauty of the tea gardens in Assam, depicting lush green landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see. In Bora's artwork, men and women of different ages are depicted working amidst the verdant tea bushes, their vibrant attire contrasting against the rich greenery. The painting celebrates the vital role of the tea gardens in providing livelihoods to the local community, portraying the symbiotic relationship between the people of Assam and the land they cultivate. Through careful brushwork and attention to detail, Bora brings to life the picturesque tea estates that cover vast expanses of land in Assam, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the tranquil beauty of this iconic landscape.
