Prithvi Kumawat blue-tick

Prithvi
Prithvi Kumawat is an artist with a lifelong passion for crafting intricate gemstone creations. His artistic journey began at the age of 10, under the guidance of his teacher, Shri Chhote Lal Kumawat. Today, Prithvi continues to pursue his craft, with his son working alongside him, carrying forward the family tradition.
What sets Prithvi's artistry apart is his deep affinity for gemstones. He meticulously works with a variety of gemstones, including the multi-colored beauty of Fluorite, the allure of Ruby, and the enchanting rainbow-like Labradorite. His expertise shines through in the exquisite jewelry he creates, particularly his love for crafting with Ruby gemstones.
Themes close to Prithvi's heart often revolve around spirituality and divinity. His art often features iconic representations like Buddha heads, Shiva heads, and depictions of Radha and Krishna, capturing the essence of God and goddesses.
Prithvi Kumawat's artistic journey has not been without its challenges. He transitioned from working with sandalwood to ivory in the '90s, only to adapt again in 2000 when sandalwood became scarce and expensive. In 2006, he made a pivotal shift to gemstone carving, a medium that brought with it different tools, technologies, and possibilities. Prithvi's enduring dedication, unwavering creativity, and adaptability have been the cornerstones of his success.
