While sharing the regional heritage of Pattachitra in its use of natural pigments and cloth-based canvases, this work specifically adopts the "Ikons" or Italons aesthetic of the Saura tribe, traditionally created as murals to honor deities and commemorate significant life events like weddings.
The composition captures the festive atmosphere of a Village Wedding, a central event that symbolizes community harmony and the continuity of tradition.
