Shri Krishna’s life revolved around cows since his childhood. He spent a huge part of his life as a cowherd, tending to the cows and their calves, taking them grazing to different parts of the village. Cows have also been a symbol of protection and abundance since the Vedic period. Hence, no painting of Shri Krishna is complete without the depiction of cows. In this painting we can see a herd of fifteen cows as they return back to their homes, as depicted by the rising moon. Each cow is a testament to the artist's skill, with meticulous attention paid to every contour and nuance of their graceful bodies. The artist's brushwork brings life to the texture of their coats, creating a tactile depth that invites you to reach out and touch the very essence of these sacred animals. Set against a backdrop of blue, the white and grey cows offer a nice contrast in the painting. The painting is a contemporary depiction of the traditional theme of Cow Herd.

Returns and Replacements
We offer replacements or repairs if your artwork arrives damaged or has a quality issue. As each artwork is handcrafted, we do not accept returns or refunds for orders received in the expected condition.
Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
