Shehzaad Ali Sherani, working within the delicate and evocative Kishangarh style, presents "Raag Bhairav," a painting that captures the essence of devotion through the portrayal of Ragini Bhairavi worshipping Lord Shiva in his Linga form. On a beautiful crystal-made seat, at the edge of the Braasa tree, she worships Mahesh (Shiva) with fully blossomed lotus petals. Holding a pot of dark, yellow color, this Bhairavi, the wife of Bhairav, is described by good poets."

Kishangarh Art, originating in the small Rajasthani state of Kishangarh, emerged as a unique school of painting in the late 18th century CE, a period when most other Rajasthani painting traditions were declining. This art form is particularly renowned for its distinctive portrayal of Radha and Krishna figures, characterized by a unique aesthetic. The artist Nihal Chand is credited with pioneering this style, famously depicting Bani Thani as Radha and Sawant Singh as Krishna, establishing the hallmark features of Kishangarh paintings.
