This is a divine Pichwai painting by artist Naveen Soni portraying Shrinathji, rendered using pure silver leafing and pigments on cotton.
Pichwai painting is a devotional textile art tradition from Nathdwara, Rajasthan, created to be hung behind the murti of Shrinathji, a form of Krishna worshipped at the Nathdwara temple. Traditionally rendered in natural pigments, gold, and silver leaf on cloth, Pichwai paintings depict the deity across the seasons and festivals of the Pushtimarg devotional calendar, combining fine detail with a scale meant to fill and frame the sanctum itself.
At the centre of the composition is Shrinathji in his iconic Govardhan Dhari pose, with his left hand raised gracefully, in his orange garments. He is heavily ornamented in pearl and gemstone necklaces accompanied by a flower garland, gold and gemstone arm ornaments and earrings, nath (nosering) and his signature peacock feather with a stylised headdress, the diamonds on his nose and chin adding to his beauty. His hair is braided with gold and black accessories, as he holds a kamal chadi or lotus stalks along with his flute in his right hand. At his feet, are the ritualistic Bhog, Paan Beeda (Beetle leaves), Prasad Dibbi, and a Jal Patra (Water Pot), as he stands in a niche, with the backdrop of tilak-like patterns.
Flanking this frame are his beloved companions, cows, mirroring each other. These cows are adorned with necklaces and have orange handprints on them, signifying divine protection and connection to Krishna. The orange feet and heads of the cows reflect the festive temple traditions of Nathdwara, where the cows were adorned during daily rituals and celebrations. A red background with a dotted flower pattern creates a contrast highlighting them.
Assembling this composition are the layered borders with two thin strips of yellow encasing an orange border with pink and white flowers along with their stems and leaves followed by another orange border.

Returns and Replacements
We offer replacements or repairs if your artwork arrives damaged or has a quality issue. As each artwork is handcrafted, we do not accept returns or refunds for orders received in the expected condition.
Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
