This hanging mask made of brass, created using the lost wax technique, is a remarkable representation of the fearsome deity Bhairav, an aspect of Shiva. Traditionally, such masks are often used in rituals, ceremonies, or festivals to ward off evil spirits and attract positive energy. It artistically combines cultural symbolism, meticulous craftsmanship, and spiritual significance.
The mask's appearance is bold and striking, with pronounced features that convey the intense energy and power associated with Bhairav. The face has a wrathful expression, with three bulging eyes, a short beard, a mustache, and an open mouth with fangs and a protruding tongue. His ornamentation consists of twisted snakes as jewelleries. These elements reflect the iconic aspect of Bhairav, a supreme deity associated with protecting his devotees.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.

No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.

Returns and Replacements

Delivery Timeline
This artwork will be Made to Order and will take 3 weeks to be made and shipped.
Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.
