The vibrant Phad painting, completed in 2.5 months, vividly narrates the legendary tales of Devnarayan Ji and Pabuji—two revered folk deities deeply honoured by the abari community of Rajasthan. Devnarayan Ji, believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is celebrated as a divine healer and warrior, while Pabuji is worshipped as a valiant protector of livestock and a symbol of justice and courage. Rooted in a 700-year-old tradition, Phad painting is a narrative folk art form typically created on long cloth scrolls known as Phads. These artworks function as mobile temples, carried and performed by Bhopas—priest-singers who bring the stories to life through song and ritual.
These artworks are exclusive national award winning pieces and are available for view and purchase for the very first time for NCR residents at ‘Kaarigar Sangam at the Kunj’ and are exclusively available for patrons outside Delhi through MeMeraki. These are being sold at no commission and are inclusive of GST , however shipping and packaging will be charged separately. Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.
