This vertical work focuses on the graceful, curving silhouettes of two peacocks, their bodies merged into a singular, rhythmic figure-eight shape at the base of a tree. Gond art often uses these intertwined forms to symbolize companionship and the shared spirit of living creatures within the forest.
The peacocks are rendered in a vibrant sky blue, with their bodies composed of overlapping, scalloped "fill-patterns" that create a sense of layered feathers. Each scale is tipped with a small white highlight and a tiny yellow dot, adding a shimmering, jewel-like quality to the plumage. Their long necks curve inward so their beaks nearly meet, and their large, circular eyes—detailed with crescent-moon pupils—give them a watchful and serene presence. Three sIgnature patterns of the artist are proudly shown in the artwork - Sarson ke daane (mustard seeds), Gehu ke baal (wheat spikes), and Beni (braid).
Rising behind them is a tree with a sturdy, brown-toned trunk, its bark textured with fine, horizontal lines. The branches sprawl outward, carrying a dense canopy of leaf-like feathers. These "leaves" are rendered in monochrome with delicate vertical hatching and central black dots, creating a soft, stippled halo around the vibrant blue birds. A circular brown motif, matching the texture of the tree, is nestled within the curve of the lower peacock's body, perhaps representing a nest or a hollow, further reinforcing the theme of the forest as a protective home.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.

No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.

Returns and Replacements
