Sanjay Tandekar paints this majestic Tanjore painting of Lord Hanuman- the Hindu god and a divine vanara companion of the god Rama. Hanuman is one of the central characters of the Hindu epic Ramayana. He is an exemplification of strength, devotion, and perseverance. Against a dark blue background symbolising the night, the artist has depicted the episode when Hanuman carried the Sanjeevani mountain. According to Ramayana, Lakshaman was shot by Shaktiban, a lethal weapon, whose effect he lay unconscious. To cure Lakshman, on the orders of Sushenu Rishi from Lanka, Hanuman lifted the whole Sanjeevani mountain when he couldn't find the particular herb and flew to the battlefield, where Lakshman was treated with medicine. The intricately designed golden frame adds to the grandeur of the painting.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.

No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.
We ship worldwide. All artworks are handmade and couriered securely in transit safe packaging sutaible for the artwork.

Returns and Replacements

Delivery Timeline
This artwork will be Made to Order and will take 1-2 weeks to be made and shipped.
Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.
