Nirmal toys are beautiful, handcrafted wooden toys originating from the Nirmal district in Telangana, India. The craft of making Nirmal toys began in the 14th century during the reign of the Kakatiya dynasty. The Nawabs of Hyderabad played a significant role in patronizing and promoting this art form, allowing it to flourish. Skilled artisans use locally sourced softwood, often from the Ankudu tree, known for its fine grain and durability. The wood is meticulously carved and then painted using natural dyes and colors, often derived from minerals, plants, and other organic materials. The designs of Nirmal toys often reflect traditional themes, including mythological stories, local folklore, and scenes from rural life. Common figures include animals, birds, dolls, and depictions of deities, each crafted with intricate detail and vibrant colors.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.

Returns and Replacements
We offer replacements or repairs if your artwork arrives damaged or has a quality issue. As each artwork is handcrafted, we do not accept returns or refunds for orders received in the expected condition.
Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
