This beautiful set of three textile wall screens titled "Ahan" by Do Suta captures the essence of Sujani embroidery in a minimalist yet deeply evocative form. Sujani is a traditional embroidery art from Bihar, India, where simple running stitches and motifs are used to narrate stories, celebrate life, and invoke protection.
Named Ahan, a Sanskrit word meaning “dawn,” “morning glory,” or the “first ray of light,” the textile celebrates the serene and spiritual transition from darkness to daybreak. Rendered in ombre yellow, the screen’s gradient flows gently from deep saffron to a soft, sunlit cream, evoking the soft light of early morning filtering across rural courtyards and open skies.
The surface is layered with delicate Sujani-style stitches that offer a quiet textural rhythm, reminiscent of morning dew and whispered prayers, exuding a sense of calm and immersing the viewer to soak in the vibrant yet serene early morning landscape. Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.

No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.
We ship worldwide. All artworks are handmade and couriered securely in transit safe packaging sutaible for the artwork.

Returns and Replacements

Delivery Timeline
This artwork will be Made to Order and will take 2-3 weeks to be made and shipped.
Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.
All MeMeraki artworks are hand-painted. In rare occasions, artist may face delays due to weather, health, prior commitments or force majeure. Our team will reach out to you with revised timelines in case of such delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such situations.
