Join us for an intimate and authentic workshop in collaboration with Border-Line Tattoos (Utsavi) with Master Artist Dilip Bahotha who is from a Warli tribe in Dahanu.

About Border-Line Tattoos: Utsavi is a machine tattoo artist whose work is primarily a celebration of south Asian culture. From her grandmother’s embroidery designs to folk art, Border-Line tattoos wishes to carve a niche in the global tattooing world by recreating something that is uniquely from South Asian.

We will be learning basic warli motifs and their meanings in the first hour of the workshop, followed by composing and painting a Warli artwork using the motifs you’ve learned.
For those of you also interested in designing your own small-sized Warli tattoo artwork (to be later tattooed by Utsavi for an additional fee) you could choose to work on that during the next two hours instead of creating the painting. The master artist and our community manager will be guiding you through both of these options.
