About the Artwork +

Bathed in the warm, golden light of perhaps the dawn or dusk, the divine beauty of the Golden Temple comes to life on Kulwinder Singh's acrylic canvas, a testament to the artist's effortless talent. The sky is painted with hues of yellows, oranges and purples, with the sun, partially veiled, radiating a divine glow to the entire landscape. The temple’s shimmering gold structure and the white structures at the back are reflected in the rippling waters of the Amrit Sarovar. The reflection is not merely visual, it symbolises spiritual depth, devotion and the presence of the divine in both the realms. The bustling procession of devotees on the pathway indicates the continuous stream of faith that the temple witnesses. Birds flying in the sky add a spiritual energy to the sky, enhancing the painting's sense of harmony. This piece is not just a painting, it offers the viewers a visual pilgrimage, reminding them to take a much needed pause and soak in the spiritual energy.
