This Koftgiri horse head by artist Shyamlata Gahlot is a remarkable departure from traditional flat-surface inlay, showcasing the artist's ability to apply the ancient "Teh-Tula" technique to a complex, three-dimensional form. Hand-forged from steel, the sculpture is entirely enveloped in shimmering silver wire, featuring dense floral arabesques and scrolling vines that follow the natural contours of the horse's musculature. The artistry is particularly evident on the face and neck, where the silver work transitions into geometric patterns and star-like motifs to define the bridal and harness areas with royal precision.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.
