Kishangarh Art, originating in the small Rajasthani state of Kishangarh, emerged as a unique school of painting in the late 18th century CE, a period when most other Rajasthani painting traditions were declining. This art form is particularly renowned for its distinctive portrayal of Radha and Krishna figures, characterized by a unique aesthetic.
