Hasir Chitrakar portrays Goddess Lakshmi mounted on an owl carrying significant symbolism deeply rooted in Hindu mythology and cultural interpretations. The owl is traditionally associated with wisdom and knowledge in Hindu culture includingly, by depicting Goddess's ride on it the art emphasize the idea that wealth should be coupled with wisdom. This interpreted as a reminder that prosperity should be used widely and responsibly, not just materially for the betterment of oneself and society. The artwork also symbolizes that the wealth is not solely dependent on outward appearances, yet comes from unexpected or unconventional sources.
