With 23 years of experience under his belt, Dharmendra represents the fourth generation in his family dedicated to the art form, with even the younger members enthusiastically following suit. Despite his modest educational background, having completed his studies up to the ninth grade in Baghmundi, Dharmendra's talent has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including multiple state awards and a national award for his exceptional craftsmanship, notably for his creation of Ghatotkach, a character from Hindu mythology. Driven by a passion for innovation and a deep spiritual connection to his craft, Dharmendra finds joy in experimenting with new designs and colors, particularly inspired by divine figures like Durga, Shiva, Krishna, and Buddha.
