Bio

Do Suta offers a vibrant collection of textiles that beautifully blend modern and contemporary aesthetics with the traditional art of Sujani. Sujani is a distinguished folk art form of embroidery with deep roots in Bihar, India. This unique craft, which received a Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2006 for its preservation, involves using a basic running stitch to meticulously join and layer pieces of cloth.

Do Suta's textiles, often characterized by their cool colors, earthy appearance, and minimalism, evoke a serene essence. This feeling is beautifully captured as: "Under the soft caresses of crimson rays and the mellow scent of ripening mangoes, you'd see them dancing, washing troubles away in showers of the clear skies, blooming in the sky and fields like little patches of rainbow, their laughs fluttering like marigolds in the breeze. As they run through tall fields of wheat with their hair flying in soft waves, kindred ties and congenial friendships set the path where quiet happiness blooms."
