A cuckoo rests on one of its branches, its sweet song inspiring a Pradhan Gond musician below to play a musical instrument called a bana. According to Gond folklore, the Saja tree provides shade and shelter to all, much like Bada Dev offers protection, strength, and blessings to his followers.
