In this striking monochrome Gond painting, artist Kailash Pradhan evokes the sacred rhythms of the forest through the graceful form of a single towering tree. Rising vertically in a gentle spiral, the tree’s trunk anchors the composition, its coiled shape guiding the viewer's gaze upward through dense, cloud-like clusters of foliage.
Nestled among the branches are birds in quiet communion, their beaks and eyes delicately emerging from the textured leaves, while below, a curious squirrel and two grounded birds share the shelter of the tree's base.
