Originating in the tribal Gond community, which lives in close communion with nature, these paintings portray a strong belief that every aspect of nature is animate and sacred.
Set against a lush green backdrop, the composition is dominated by two pairs of stylized deer, their bodies adorned with repeating dot and line motifs that capture the essence of movement and vitality.
