This wooden carving of Lord Krishna is made by Om Prakash. Lord Krishna- the God of Protection, Love and Tenderness is the eighth avatar of Vishnu. He is considered the compassionate, loving forest deity of Vrindavan. Krishna's childhood primarily composes of his Lilas as he steals butter, dances with the peacocks, splashes in the river, play the bamboo flute and spends his time with his friends in the forest herding cows earning him names like Maakhan Chor (the Butter Thief), Gopala (the Protector of Cows), and Madan Mohan (the Mesmerizer).
