Mudwork artist Nalemitha beautifully forms mandala designs in the four corners forming a star shape in the middle with mirrorwork. The circular shape of a mandala signifies eternity, completeness, and the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth. Mandalas are used for meditation and as tools for focusing one's attention, promoting inner harmony and balance. A star shape at the center of a mandala has various meanings, depending on the number of points and cultural context. The central star also signifies a guiding light or a goal to strive toward. Mirrors are sometimes used in mandalas to reflect one's inner self or to symbolize self-reflection and introspection. In some cultures, mirrors are believed to have protective qualities, reflecting negative energies away from the individual.
