| Bio | K. Laxminarayan has over 25 years of experience in Karuppur Kalamkari. He has been certified by the Development Commissioner of Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles Govt. of India. He has participated in various exhibitions conducted by the central and state Governments of India. The master artist has been awarded numerous awards, including the State award, Kalanithi award from Dharmapuram Aadheenam, Kalai Chemmal Award from Thiruvaduthurai Aadheenam, International Excellence Award, and the Aram Award in 2023. He has also been awarded a Doctorate in Kalamkari. He has successfully trained over 1000 students in more than ten training programs. |
