About Kailash Pradhan

Kailash Pradhan is a dedicated practitioner of Gond art, with a rich artistic journey spanning 15 years. He acquired this traditional art form under the tutelage of his uncle, honing his skills and developing a distinctive style.

His signature 'Cherchera' pattern draws inspiration from the traditional Cherchera festival celebrated in the Gond tribal community, showcasing his deep cultural connection. Nature and animals serve as a profound source of inspiration for Kailash. His artworks often feature vibrant depictions of elephants, birds, trees, jungles, and other wildlife, reflecting his close bond with the natural world.
