Pichwai art, originating from Nathdwara, Rajasthan, serves as a sacred backdrop for the deity Shrinathji, focusing on the pastoral life and divine miracles of Lord Krishna.
The composition centers on the iconic figure of Shrinathji, the seven-year-old manifestation of Krishna, standing gracefully upon a pink lotus pedestal while playing his divine flute. The entire work is elevated by the extensive use of pure silver leafing (Chandi ka Kaam), which is meticulously applied not only to the deity’s intricate jewelry and towering crown but also to the entire herd of cows surrounding him. This metallic detailing creates a shimmering, celestial effect across the canvas, making the silver elements radiate against the vivid mustard-yellow background.
Surrounding Shrinathji is a dense grid of thirty-two holy cows, representing his role as the divine cowherd, Govinda or Gopala, the protector of cows. Each silver-leafed cow is accented with delicate orange handprints—a symbolic representation of Krishna's cosmic presence and love for cows, framed by a rich floral border of scrolling vines. Returns and Replacements

Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
