Mukul Joshi hails from a family of Phad painters based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. In 2016, he began creating Pichwai paintings. Mukul says that art is in his blood because he comes from an artist family. His brother is a National Award-winning artist and a UNESCO Award gold medallist. He presently has 13 employees, half of them are women.
