This Pichwai by Naveen Soni shows Krishna's beloved companions, his cows. Pichwai is a devotional cloth painting traditionally hung behind the idol of Shrinathji in Nathdwara temples, where colour, symbol and space together create a sacred backdrop. At the heart of the composition stand three cows, white and grey, gathered closely against a warm yellow background, their bodies marked with rhythmic red handprints that suggest ritual blessing and devotion along with the cosmic presence of Krishna, highlighting his role as Gopala or protector of cows. The clustering of their heads creates a gentle intimacy, as if they move together as one presence.
Gold accents on the ropes and horns catch the light, while a soft cloud-like border and a single leaf form in the corner balance the composition. The spare setting draws attention to the cows themselves, evoking the quiet sanctity of Krishna’s pastoral world through color, repetition, and calm symmetry.

Returns and Replacements
We offer replacements or repairs if your artwork arrives damaged or has a quality issue. As each artwork is handcrafted, we do not accept returns or refunds for orders received in the expected condition.
Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
