This Pattachitra painting presents Lord Ganesha as the commanding central deity, seated frontally within an ornate architectural shrine, while an extensive arrangement of surrounding panels narrates episodes associated with his divine identity and the wider sacred cosmos. Ganesha is depicted in his iconic form with an elephant head, multiple arms holding symbolic attributes like goad, noose, aksamala and axe, and a calm yet powerful presence, set against a deep red ground that heightens his visual prominence and sacred authority.
