The goddess dominates the composition, standing in her iconic pose with one foot upon the chest of Lord Shiva, who lies beneath her. Madhubani art, also known as Mithila art, originates from the Mithila region of Bihar, India, and is celebrated for its intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and profound cultural significance.
