This decorative plate is crafted in the tradition of Kashmiri papier mâché, executed by Riyaz ji, and exemplifies the region’s refined ornamental vocabulary. The composition is organized around a precise geometric framework, with a radiating floral mandala formed by interlocking petal-like segments. Each segment is filled with dense floral patterns, creating a layered interplay between geometry and natural motifs.
The palette—dominated by soft greens, warm ochres, and muted reds—reflects the characteristic aesthetic of Kashmiri papier mâché, where delicate hand-painting and controlled repetition are central. Returns and Replacements
We offer replacements or repairs if your artwork arrives damaged or has a quality issue. As each artwork is handcrafted, we do not accept returns or refunds for orders received in the expected condition.
Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
