This mesmerizing terracotta artwork by Dolon Kundu vividly captures the legendary episode of Lord Krishna subduing the venomous serpent Kaliya with extraordinary intricacy and devotion. Set within a deep wooden frame with a rich red background, the relief showcases Krishna’s divine grace as he dances effortlessly upon the multiple hoods of the serpent in the turbulent waters of the Yamuna. His poised stance, adorned with traditional ornaments and an elaborate crown, radiates celestial energy as he crushes the ego of the fearsome Kaliya, whose sinuous form coils beneath him in submission. For larger terracotta artworks, pieces are securely packaged and hand-delivered in parts. Installation is coordinated with the artist and includes final touch-ups like colouring and fixing. Visible joints are a natural feature of terracotta art. Installation charges in addition to the artwork may apply and our sales team will get in touch with you for the same.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.
