About the Artwork +

In this resplendent stone dust painting, artist Amita Sachdeva evokes sacred abundance through a flowering vase, a symbol of the eternal blooms of life. Handcrafted using natural crushed stone pigments along with oil paints over a ply-board canvas, this painting is a testament to the timeless legacy of Indian craftsmanship and symbolism.

At the center of the artwork is a vase, adorned with intricate detailing, from which a stunning bunch of golden vines, buds and blossoms rise upward in symmetrical tiers, creating a form that is natural yet architectural. Set against a deep maroon backdrop, the central floral composition shines in gold, highlighted with silver detailing.

The upper arch frames the bouquet with a beautiful canopy of black and gold. Enclosed within a richly ornamented border with blooms and vines, the painting depicts the potential of life through the flowers, symbolising fertility and creation, making it a meaningful addition to any space.
