Vidya Devi Soni, a resident of Bhilwara, embarked on her artistic journey at the tender age of six under the expert guidance of her parents, Shri Badri Lal and Smt. Sumitra. Mandana, which translates to 'drawing,' holds a special place in the local language, symbolizing the act of creating pictures.
Even at the age of 73, Vidya Devi Soni continues to passionately practice this traditional Indian art form. Her unwavering commitment to Mandana art is a testament to her dedication and love for the craft.
In recognition of her outstanding artistic contributions, Vidya Devi Soni received the National merit 2017, Mahila shakti Rajasthan awards 2019.
