Sushil Soni paints this Pichwai painting of Shrinath Ji-a seven-year-old manifested form of Krishna. He is depicted in a posture when he lifted the Govardhan Hill with one arm raised to protect the residents of Vrindavan from Indra’s wrath and the other resting on his waist. Decorated in jewels from head to toe holding a Lotus. He is adorned in a shaneel or silk with intricate designs of zari work. The painting illustrates devotees praying to Shrinath Ji in the centre. On the left side is the illustration of Krishna Janmashtami celebrating Krishna's birth. On the right side is the celebration of the Annakoot or the Govardhan Pooja. Devotees offer a mountain of food, metaphorically representing the Govardhan Hill, to God as a ritual remembrance and to renew their faith in taking refuge in God.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.
