This striking Gomira mask, created by artisan Kalyan Chandra Sarkar, vividly portrays Goddess Kali, embodying her fierce and protective essence. The mask, carved and painted with exceptional craftsmanship, features a prominent black face symbolizing strength, power, and the destruction of evil. The bold red crown, adorned with intricate yellow and blue motifs, emphasizes Kali's divine authority, while the sharp angular shapes convey her commanding presence. The wide, glaring eyes with stark white sclera and detailed red eyebrows evoke a sense of divine vigilance. The pointed ears, painted with red and black patterns, enhance the mask's dramatic appearance. Its sharp teeth, painted in white against red lips, display Kali’s ferocity and readiness to vanquish darkness. Surrounding the face are finely detailed lines and dots, representing divine energy and protection.
