Dharani is the personification of the circle, her posture expands outwards as her fingers delicately aid her semblance. She stands in the middle of a pre-bloom garden, performing circular motions to check for lumps. The circle in its infinity represents the wholeness of life, a perfect symbol and cyclical movement of spiritual well-being.

Circular motion

A spring morning.

A ceramic workshop nestled in a serene garden.

A potter’s wheel under a canopy of pink bougainvillea flowers.

Sun plays hide-and-seek with Dharani’s soft face.

Her delicate fingers caress the uneven contours of clay.

The wheel starts turning.

Dharani gently strokes, pulls and squeezes the clay.

The lump of clay transforms into an elegant vase.

Dharani’s fingertips have magic.

They don’t just transform clay; they have transformed her life too.

It was six months ago.

A stifling afternoon.

Dharani makes a set of intricate candle sticks.

Sun-kissed and weary, she seeks refuge in her shower.

The divine smell of Parijat flowers.

Her skin luxuriates in the soft lather.

Her fingertips, seasoned to find lumps in clay, find something unusual.

A lump in her left breast.

She doesn’t want to believe it, but her fingers never lie.

She needs to be sure.

Dharani stands in front of the mirror.

Raises her left arm.

Her right hand examines the smooth surface of her left breast.

Her fingertips move in circles applying gentle pressure.

The lump is a truth.

Her cheeks burn, and her eyes fill up.

She looks deep into the eyes of her reflection. They tell her:

You’re stronger than this. You’ve always done what’s right.

You’ll do it this time too.

She changes into her favourite denim and white top.

Determined to get that lump out of her life.

Six months have passed.

The lump is gone.

Dharani is stronger than ever.

She’s happy she didn’t take a chance.

She now knows the key to her life is at her fingertips.

Domestic Orders

All prices are inclusive of GST and applicable Indian taxes.

• We offer free shipping on orders above ₹999 for all artworks, except Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri.
• A flat shipping rate of ₹249 applies to orders below ₹999.

Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri

Shipping is charged on a per-kilogram basis, due to the delicate and bulky nature of these items.

International Orders

• A flat shipping charge of ₹4,000 applies to international artwork orders.
• Customs duties, taxes, or import charges in the buyer’s country are not included and must be borne by the buyer.
• Shipping rates for Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri artworks will be calculated based on weight.

Additonal Shipping Charges

Extra charges may be applicable for both domestic and international deliveries in the following cases:

• If the article requires additional packaging (such as a wooden crate) to ensure safe shipping due to its delicate nature.
• Custom-framed artworks.
• Artworks where shorter side exceeds 36 inches or Decor items with any side over 35 inches.
• If you request express shipping. Contact support to check availability.
• The order contains more than two different product types.

All artworks are handmade and couriered securely packed in a tube.

This artwork will be Made to Order and will take 2-3 weeks to be made and shipped. Returns are not applicable on Made To Order artworks.

Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.

All MeMeraki artworks are hand-painted. In rare occasions, artist may face delays due to weather, health, prior commitments or force majeure. Our team will reach out to you with revised timelines in case of such delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such situations.
