Artist Manoranjan Chitrakar depicts the central focus of Bengal Pattachitra art, showcasing fishes on the brass glass. Bengal has a strong cultural and religious connection with rivers and water bodies, fishes are often found in rivers and their presence symbolize the sacredness of these waters and their importance in the lives of the people. Fishes also serve as decorative element within the overall composition of a painting, adding visual interest and balance to the artwork. The use of fish in the art reflects the continuity of cultural traditions and beliefs. No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.

Delivery Timeline
This artwork will be Made to Order and will take 2-3 weeks to be made and shipped.
Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.
