The intricately carved wooden blocks, made from Sheesham and Sangwan wood, are
traditional tools used in Kalamkari textile printing. The two blocks are inspired by nature
such as the shape of a paan (betel leaf) and a mango. Each piece is etched with intricate
floral, paisley, and bird motifs in detail. These blocks, used for printing on textiles, are
hand-carved and took six months to complete, reflecting immense skill and patience.
Used for hand-printing natural-dye fabrics, they represent the heritage of Kalamkari art
from Telangana Andhra Pradesh.
These artworks are exclusive national award winning pieces and are available for view and purchase for the very first time for NCR residents at ‘Kaarigar Sangam at the Kunj and are exclusively available for patrons outside Delhi through MeMeraki. These are being sold at no commission and are inclusive of GST , however shipping and packaging will be charged separately. Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.

No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.
We ship worldwide. All artworks are handmade and couriered securely in transit safe packaging sutaible for the artwork.

Returns and Replacements

Delivery Timeline
This artwork will be Made to Order and will take 3 weeks to be made and shipped.
Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.
All MeMeraki artworks are hand-painted. In rare occasions, artist may face delays due to weather, health, prior commitments or force majeure. Our team will reach out to you with revised timelines in case of such delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such situations.
